Infinite Jest explores the potential of AI in architecture as a megastructure: a constantly expanding hotel originating from a panopticon prison, designed to provide a unique, customized experience for each customer.

AI-generated images evoke a haunting and unsettling feeling, as their patterns and purposes remain elusive, offering a vague sense of familiarity. This phenomenon aligns with the concept of Hauntology, where the ghost of the past influences the present, and time is replaced by faded memories—a twilight of dementia in our future. Old forms are continuously repackaged and presented as new, leaving the past ever-present yet out of reach.

As the hotel expands endlessly, this megastructure envisions a future where it consumes every corner of human society, merging the familiar and the uncanny into a single architectural narrative.
